Description: This course is designed to support new students in developing the academic, personal, and career readiness skills necessary for success in college and beyond. Students will explore their motivations for attending college, connect with campus support services, and strengthen essential skills such as time management, studying, note-taking, and test preparation. Emphasis is placed on career exploration, aligning interests with academic pathways, and utilizing a Recommended Academic Plan (RAP) to personalize their My Academic Plan (MAP). Through reflective activities, students will examine communication, critical thinking, and self-care practices, while also developing financial literacy and understanding the costs associated with their educational and career goals. 48 lecture hours.
