Description: The Forklift Operator training is a one-day class held at the Angelina College Lufkin Campus. All participants who successfully complete will earn a 2-year National Safety Council Forklift Operator Certification. Individuals must be 18 in order to become certified.

Description: Heavy Equipment Operator II Learn to drive and control construction equipment including bulldozer, forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, cargo trucks and hydraulic trucks cranes. This course also includes learning how to operate the equipment to assist in the construction of structures, including bridges, roads and buildings. Students who complete the training through Angelina College receive a certification through National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Course requirements: Ability to read, write and understand English at or above the 10th grade level. Must be able to legally work in the United States.
