Description: The Medical Administrative Assistant program prepares students for essential roles in today’s healthcare environments by developing skills in medical office procedures, patient communication, electronic health records, billing and coding basics, and healthcare law compliance. Emphasizing accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality, the program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training using industry-standard software and simulated office environments. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions such as medical office assistant, patient services representative, or administrative coordinator, and may pursue professional credentials like the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA).
