ELECTRICAL LINEWORKER

The Electrical Lineworker program prepares students for entry-level careers as electrical lineworkers - skilled professionals who install, maintain, and repair power lines that deliver electricity to homes and businesses. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training in electrical theory, climbing skills, transformer connections, equipment operation, and industry safety standards. Students also earn an institutional credential leading to Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) licensure, a key requirement for the electrical utility industry. Graduates are prepared to meet workforce demands in Deep East Texas and pursue high-demand careers with electrical utilities and contractors.
